Dr Niloshan Jeyarajah
Dr Niloshan was born in Point Pedro, Sri Lanka, he came to Australia at the age of two and grew up in inner West Sydney. He completed all his training in the Hunter New England region. After working a number of years across the state in internal medicine, he moved to the Illawarra to work in general practice. Niloshan is very passionate about general practice and enjoys the various aspects of being a GP, such as building therapeutic relationships, patient health promotion and preventative health.
Niloshan enjoys kung fu, bike riding and swimming in his spare time. He enjoys exploring the Illawarra, and is looking forward to making Wollongong his home.
Niloshan enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in:
- Child and Adolescent Health
- Internal medicine including chronic disease and diabetes
- Older people's health
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
- Mental Health
- Men's Health
- Weight Management (Member RACGP Obesity Special Interest Group)
